So Tuesday night I went to the humans Society to get my own fur baby. I've wanted one since I was a child but family members where allergic ect.
So after looking at a bunch of different cats I find the perfect one. Whoot! Put her on my lap and knew she was the one. Since at this point the humane society was going to close in 15 minutes they put a hold on her and told me to come in to fill out the paperwork the next day day. So they put my fur baby back in her cage.
So the next day I go back and fill out all the paperwork, make the id tag, pay all the fines. Last thing they do is put the cat in the box for you to take home. Well when they went to put her in the box there was no cat in the cage.
So someone stole her or she is hiding somewhere in the humane society.
How long will a cat stay hidden before they come looking for food? What do I do now?
I wants cat but a bit confused about which cat is best for me..
My mother adopted Nena(4months) for the family less than two weeks and she was supposed to be litter trained.
Problem is, she keeps peeing on beds or anywhere that's not her litter box. She's staying in one room currently, sometimes switching between my sister or my room, so her litter box is in the room with her including food and water.
She's gone pee in her litter box before, I don't understand why she sometimes just goes on places that are NOT her litter box???
I'm in need of being cheered up and hearing adoption stories usually fixes that so I'll go first. I was googling where to find Russian Blues (they produce less allergens and my boyfriend is allergic to cats) and I found her in the town over. Immediately drove over to meet her and she was in this TINY plastic box by herself in the most depressing adoption place I've ever visited. I held her for a second and I just immediately knew her name was going to be Tuesday and that I was going to take her home. They told me they needed 3 days to give her all her shots and whatnot so I went home anxiously waiting to pick her up. I was so damn excited to pick her up I hit a car on the way over. Luckily no damage was done. But it was love at first sight online.
How did you meet/adopt your cat? I love a good adoption story.
