Looking for advice. I have 3 cats (7, 6 and 2 years old), I want to move overseas which would mean going into an apartment where I can't take my cats with me. I am feeling guilty about making this decision but also don't want to miss a life opportunity. Just want to know what others have done in this situation?
Hello all, I need help. I recently found myself living out of my car with my 5 year old cat, Maverick. I have been trying to keep him, alternating between sleeping out of my car with him, getting cat friendly motels, and putting him up in a cat hotel. I recently lost my job and am trying desperately to get back on my feet, but I can't provide him the life he deserves or is used to. I have been trying to rehome him or find some kind of adoption agency, but I have had no luck. I was wondering if anyone can point me in the right direction, a kill shelter is not an option. If anyone wants a loveable, lazy sweetheart let me know. I know this is a shot in the dark, but I'm hoping there may be a cat lover out there who can help me out. If not keep him maybe hold on to him for a few months?
I have 4 cats; 3 males and 1 female. (11M, 9M, 7M, and 7F).
The evidence:
3 large turds and 2 small turds. 11M and 7M were found chilling on the lounge chairs casually. 9M was found on a kitchen chair; not long after, 9M got up, slowly snuck up on the turds, sniffed them, and tried to bury them to no avail. 7F was found running frantically around the house, terrified for some reason.
Information to know:
7F and 9M have no history of misbehavior. 7M has a history of peeing on the floor and not covering up his turds in the litter box. (7F used to cover up his poops but gave up a long time ago.) 11M has a history of throwing up a lot. 11M pees and poops outside generally; 11M is the only outdoor/indoor cat.
Questions I have:
Why was 7F so scared? Do cats get scared of turds outside of litter boxes generally? I don't want to throw suspicion on her if she's innocent.
