#cat - #My kittens barely eat

My kittens barely eat

If you look on the serving size for almost any cat food, it will say that kittens should eat more something like 4 cup servings a day. And my kittens are currently 3 months old.

However I try feeding them that but they hardly eat that much. Even with breakfast and dinner wet food they eat about half a can.

My guess is probably because of the temperature. Even with humans, the hotter it feels like 90+ degrees you tend to feel full on small meals, and eating more (especially meat) will make your body feel even hotter and sweatier. And it also probably doesn't help that my A/C is broken so it's almost always about 90 degrees in the house.

Can you guys help me determine the breed of this cat? :-)

Hey /r/Cat,

My friend is fostering a kitten she found abandoned on the side of the road. We would like to know what breed the kitten is along with any useful tips. Any knowledge would be greatly appreciated!!

Here are some pictures as well as a video

Thanks! :-)

#cat - #For those who walk their cats on a leash.

For those who walk their cats on a leash.

For those who walk their cats outside, where do you do take them? I have tried walking them around my apartments in the open areas but it always seem to draw too much attention from neighbors (especially since cats are slow to explore new environments, meaning I do alot of idle standing with them. Not to mention in general it is strange to walk a cat outside on a leash) and other cats.

I wish I had a car so I could take them both to a park so they can roam without me having to keep them from people's homes, windows, and cars.
