My roommate's cat got out! How do I get him back?
I don't know how he got out but he did. He's been gone for less than a day. What should I do?

Allergies
I'm recently found out I'm allergic to cats. Not deathly, but I get all sneezy and my eyes water and etc. It's very uncomfortable but I love my cat so much. She's pretty old (about 12) and super sweet and cuddly. I just wish I wasn't allergic. Technically I can still pet her but when I do, I'm extremely uncomfortable for a while
Does anyone else have this problem? Because I would love some ideas of what I can do. I have allergy medicine and it works ok but it's not super good so I still get sneezy (and etc.)

Dear cat, pls let me sleep
Don't get me wrong, I love the damned creature. But the minute I close the bedroom door, it's meowing and wailing and throwing herself against the door. I'm officially loopy from sleep deprivation. Any suggestions? What have you done that's worked?

How do you know if it's a good idea for your cat to get a buddy?
So here's the deal: We adopted a cat from someone who couldn't take care of him anymore. He's 15 now and we've had him for 2 years, but since my boyfriend and I work full-time and he can't go outside on his own (we live near a dangerous street), he spends a lot of time inside and alone.
He has a lot of toys and scratching poles to keep him busy, as well as some food puzzles and we go outside with him every morning and evening, but I'm still scared he gets too lonely since he comes from a retired, elderly lady who was probably with him all the time.
The thing is that he is still very playful, requires a lot of attention and he's extremely vocal, but since he's always been the only cat in the household we don't know if he'd benefit from having another (also older?) cat there.
Any advice would be welcome. Thanks!
