2nd time my cats done this.. first time he peed on a bag. Started acting super aggressive and making a screaming sound like I have never heard. And he charged and hissed when I went near him. I got him in a spare room. Took him to the vet. He legit sounded like he was in the worst pain. Vet check was normal. Everything was fine. Said it was behavioral.. it was Christmas time so I thought maybe an animal peed on my xmas tree. Got rid of it. And we were back to normal in 2 days...
Fast forward to today. He's walking around smelling everything, acting odd, stalking my other cat and will not stop meowing. I put him in an extra room by himself. Now he's just meowing constantly at the door.
Any one ever expirence this? What should I do.. it's so annoying and I feel bad isolating him but idk what else to do
I recently took in a stray cat that's been wandering around for a few weeks, it was just too cute! It's clearly already trained but I don't know how often I should feed her/what to feed her. She's a tabby, maybe around 4-7 years old. I'm currently feeding her iams perfect portions and healthy gourmet wet food twice a day. She doesn't seem to be drinking water but she loves cat treats.
Is dry or wet food better for cats? How often should I feed my cat a day? ( each can is 3oz ) ( each snack is 1.5 cal )
My cats nails are way too long and my siblings are getting mad because she loves to sit on our lap. They also have a lot of dirt in them, if I have the proper tool, should I cut them? Is that unhealthy for a cat?
There's a stray cat that keeps coming to my home, and one day my mom and I just decided to keep it. It's a tabby, and it's super sweet and affectionate. It's always trying to cuddle us and it's always talking to us. I bought it cat food and a litterbox, even though it knows how to use our toilet. I love it, the only problem is my dad thinks it's " bad luck " to have a pet cat on the year of the dog so he's super mean to it! he grabs its face and neck and pets it like he's hitting it. He even puts it in headlocks... The cat is so sweet where it doesn't growl or attack! My mom hit it earlier with a shirt and it flew off the couch shaking, and now it doesn't trust any of us. What do I do to make it trust me? + My parents are always trying to throw her out on the street.

We just got a new kitten last week, we already have a German Shorthaired Pointer. Our dog is wonderful, she has been interested in the kitten since day one, but the kitten wants nothing to do with her. Are there things to do to help the transition along or is it just something that time will take care of?
