Can anyone help me identify what breed my cat is? I know her mother is a Himalayan, but I'm not sure what her father could be. The lady who I got her from for free from just let her cat roam around unspayed... The poor thing :(
So I've been wanting to get an emotional support cat for my depression and anxiety, but my roommate is allergic. I would just go get a Russian blue or another hypoallergenic breed but I feel bad not rescuing. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have a 6 month male old orange short-hair tabby, and he gets so bored! He's so playful and energetic and my mom and I can't keep up with giving him attention because I work a lot and my mom says he plays too rough with her (despite clipping his nails regularly).
So I think if he had a kitten to play he might be a little less rough with humans. I am thinking of adopting one of these cats from a local shelter who have about 10. There are 2 that are around his age 1 male, 1 female. Everyone is spayed or neutered. How do I pick 1? Help plz

Received Miss Pebbles on Monday. She's been doing great but I really need some help regarding a few things.
She's a twelve week old female kitten from a home with 4 other kittens, two dogs and her Mom. She's really attached to me: she has to sit in my neck, purrs all the time whenever I'm in range and she's just really cute :>
The thing is, whenever I go to the toilet or do the laundry, she starts calling louder and louder. This morning I could hear her trough the window outside so I assume my neighbors also hear her. Now this isn't such a big deal, but it even happens when I'm not in view for a minute and these past two days also a couple of times when I was with her. I was shaving myself and she kept walking around me and tell (and try to climb on my leg above).
How can I make her yell less? I have two weeks vacation right now and also been away for like 2 hours a day since Monday. Can I do more than that?
My second question is: how I do correct her when she pees outside of the litter box? Since Monday she uses the box instantly but today she peed in her cushion (but pooped in the box afterwards). I sprayed some water on her, but is that enough?
I'm watching my step mom's cat, it's a 4yo Russian blue. He's a very playful cat, almost puppy-like. He headbutts people's hands and rubs his boddly against their legs and hands and loves physical contact. If you initiate a pet he rolls on his back with his paws curled in. To me this means he wants you to pet his belly and I learned quickly this means don't fucking touch my belly, bro.
Now, that said, while on his back he still lunge the top of head into my open hand to be pet, but when I slowly go to rub his head he pops up and tries to scratch/bite me, and then hisses. It's confusing because he seems to want attention but when I give it to him he goes to attack me.
To be clear I only do this with stuff safe for my other cat. Like healthy fur vitamins or whatever.
I already posted to 2 different vet subs and am getting no answers. I'm anxious and scared but broke as fuck and really frustrated.
Like the title says, my kitten (6 months old, 5 lbs. short hair mix, not a flat faced breed) is breathing strangely. Her lungs sound clear (I listened with my medical grade stethoscope, several different times) and there's no audible struggle when she breathes, but she's taking very shallow and quick breaths. The internet said she should be breathing 30 breaths per minute- my girl is breathing 68-82 breaths per minute that I've measured, while resting. She's not panting, coughing, not hunched over to breathe, she's eating and drinking, playing like normal, etc. She's usually much more docile and calm compared to my other kitten so it's hard to say if she's lethargic- I don't think she is though- she's perky and interested in everything, follows me from room to room like normal, purring...all the things. I don't know what to make of it. Google is all over the place and nothing I've read matches her symptoms.
My cat, Skunk, was licking my armpit while I was sleeping. I am wearing deodorant. Should I be worried? I didn't stop her right away cause it was the best thing I've ever experienced.
