Adopting a very shy and afraid cat - some advices ?
Hey Reddit !
I am adopting a cat (he will be home Wednesday), the adorable Caruso ! We know that he is very fearful (of everything : loud noises, fast movements, human, other animals...). In the cat shelter we are picking him up, he is spending most of his day in a box where he feels safe.
However, he is not aggressive (never scratched anyone, just trying to avoid things coming to him /hide).
Do you have any advices for me ?
(We are two humans living in an appartement without any other animals)
